The Horses
Meet the horses that are part of the Legacy Equestrian riding program!
Bandit
Bandit is a 19 yr old Quarter Horse / Pinto gelding who is a main staple at the barn. He rides both English and Western and is a great confident builder for our littles. But don't let his age fool you, he is also is a great mount for intermediate riders. Bandit enjoys long trail rides down the road, all kinds of cookies, and being groomed after a great ride!

Casey
Casey is a 15 year old registered Appaloosa gelding who now calls Legacy home. Casey has does it all from jumping, gaming, pleasure and dressage! He has quickly become a barn favorite with his outgoing personality and amazing temperament. He is a honest horse that will take many of our students far in the show ring.

Clark
Clark is a 12 yr old registered Arabian gelding who excels in dressage and hunt. Clark is a sweet horse who is a barn favorite.
Joker
Joker is a 16 yr old beautiful leopard Appaloosa gelding who enjoys his days teaching new and old Legacy kids the ropes of riding. With his flashy looks and amazing personality Joker is a favorite among the kids. His laid back personality is great for all levels of riders. He rides English, Western, and even jumps!
Lacey
Lacey is a 5 yr old black Friesian/Hackney/Shetland cross pony mare. Lacey loves to canter on the trails and has no problem keeping up with the big horses. Her size and personality is what makes her stand out in a crowd. There is no over looking this pony, from flat work to jumping she gives it her all!
Nicky
Nicky is a registered Arabian gelding.
Nike
Nike is a 14 yr old registered Arabian gelding who enjoys teaching newbies all the ropes here at Legacy. He used to be an endurance horse but has since retired and now enjoys toting the kids around the arena.

Rusty
Rusty is a 15 yr old Quarter Horse gelding, but don't tell him he is that old! This sweet dude does it all, English, Western, Jumping, Trails, Bareback. You name it Rusty has got you covered.
Sonny
Tribute
Tribute is a pure white Egyptian Arabian gelding. Fun fact? Even though he's an Arabian, he's a pony too! What he lacks in height he makes up for with his winning personality and ready for anything attitude. He used to live in Virginia, but is now loving his life at Legacy. He loves the arena, but is also a trail horse extraordinaire. p.s. we think he would make an exceptional unicorn in our next costume contest.
Wendy
Wendy is a 22 year old purebred Arabian mare who joined the Legacy family last year. Wendy takes care of some of our youngest riders but still has that arab attitude that reminds you she is just a young gal at heart.
