Melissa has been a wonderful friend to me for years, she's supportive of my goals (the big and small and crazy!) and always so helpful with riding, training, and competing. Without her I would have never made it to regionals and nationals this year and certainly wouldn't have had so much fun! We had a great year of VERY successful competitions, lots of laughs, trail rides, and adventures to North Carolina and Texas.

Her work with the horses is exceptional; I've seen her teach horses everything from laying down to dressage moves. Her work with her students? Even better! I've watched her help so many people reach their goals, including me, my siblings, and some of my best friends. There's never a dull moment, she's truly professional, a person you can trust with your kids, patient, genuinely caring, and absolutely the best at tailoring her program to her client's needs. I can't say enough good things about her.

AND. She recently helped me acquire my very first horse, Atlantis, a wonderful, wonderful future dressage horse. She's great at helping horses find the right people! So, any horses out there, please contact Melissa for help finding your new person. ;)

Melissa is one of the most amazing people I know.
She has taught me so much about horses and has helped me accomplish many of my dreams. (Including owning a beautiful mare of my own and riding on the beach!)

She is encouraging, patient, and shows how much she really cares about you.
Also, she is crazy smart and can fix almost ANYTHING. wink emoticon
When giving lessons, she makes things very clear and easy to understand.

Also, she is a blast to hang out/ride with!
I am so thankful I was able to be a part of so many crazy adventures! wink emoticon

Love you, Missy!

Brenna A.
Brenna first started working with Melissa a little over a year ago. She had been riding for about 3 years at a barn that was very basic and taught her a lot, but she was anxious to learn more. Over the year that she worked with Melissa she learned so much about how to work with a horse. It isn't just about the riding part, but how to handle horses with different temperaments and how to care for a horse's daily needs. She learned that there is so much more to riding than just riding! When we learned that Melissa was moving to Enchanted Hollow we were devestated. Our drive was already far and this would be even farther. It took us a few weeks to realize it didn't matter. Brenna wanted to be with her friends and most importantly she wanted to continue to work with Melissa. We've only been over to Enchanted Hollow a few times, but I can alrealy tell it's going to be a wonderful place for Brenna to continue her learning and relationship with horses. Melissa expects good listening, paying attention to what she says about correcting bad habits, but she also makes riding and learning incredibly fun! Enchanted Hollow is a kids dream with so many animals to look at and interact with and since we are a rescue family ourselves, I can really appreciate what they do for those wonderful rescue ponys. We are so thankful that our path took us to Melissa and now Enchanted Hollow and very excited for the learning and growth to continue. Thanks Melissa for all that you do!

Melissa came into our lives and joined our "Enchanted Hollow" family fairly recently, but I can already tell that she is truly something special. I have learned a lot from her in the small time that I have known her and I am so extremely thankful that she is in our lives. She offers guidance and encouragement when I need it most, and is always willing to lend a helpful hand in any situation. She is always up for a challenge and never turns down a project that she knows will make a positive impact on someone or something. She is so wise and her horse knowledge and experience is so valuable, and I cannot wait to become another one of her "barn kids."

In the year that we have known Melissa Beaudry, Lowenna and I have agreed that she is a most amazing person. She always has a smile, regardless of how cold (or hot) the weather is, no matter the work that has to be done, regardless of other circumstances. And she has always welcomed Lowenna with this smile.

For Lowenna, doing work at the barn is never a problem, and I think it must be because Melissa leads with a positive and entirely inclusive attitude. Everyone is welcome, everyone is part off the team, everyone is important.

I trust Melissa, leaving Lowenna at the barn to learn, have fun, work, and be part of a community that she has grown to love. This is a big deal to me, there are not many people with whom I would do this. What's more, Lowenna always comes home with a smile on her face. She learns a lot from Melissa, about many things, not just horse riding and care (although both of these have improved a lot in the last year).

For me, words that describe Melissa are: steadfast, reliable, energetic, caring, fun, trustworthy, talented, resourceful, hard working, honest and supportive. How lucky we are to have Melissa in our lives!

Melissa is a most marvelous lady. We've shared so many laughs over the past few years we've known each other; some over silly horse antics, some from sheer delight during a gallop on the trails... or on the beach! She is such an inspiring person, always smiling and cheerful. She's helped teach me so much, from having a good work ethic, to calming an excited horse, to handling the tiniest foal, and everything in between! She is so good with the horses, and even though we have moved to Texas, she's still my go-to for horse related questions!

One super special thing she helped me with is going to my first horse show, even when plans had to unexpectedly change, she was there to support me, and make it tons of fun!

Also, without her help, I wouldn't have the amazing relationship with Khoursabra that I have today... She has made such an amazing impact on my life. She truly is my "barn mom", and I love her so much!

As a mom, there are few things as important to me than my kids. That being said, I trust Melissa with mine. She has the heart of a mother, the skills of a horse whisperer, the grit of a cowgirl, and the patience of a saint. Melissa has bent over backwards for our kids and family, going above and beyond to help make us a horse riding family. Around here, the name "Melissa" means something pretty special.

I could go on forever to say how amazing Melissa is but I'm just going to say that Melissa is super talented and knows what she's doing. She's super funny and kind and cares about everyone and every animal. She's helped put a smile on my face when I'm having a bad day too.

I'm an adult rider and Melissa makes it a point to listen to my concerns without judgement or making me feel stupid. Sadly many lesson teachers are gruff and rude. Melissa is gentle and makes me feel comfortable and normalizes my concerns. She is easy to get along with and great at explaining her riding concepts in a way that clicks and makes it easy to remember.

I met Melissa early 2016 when I moved to Minnesota. She immediately took me and my two horses in and treated us just like family. Not only has she care for my horses, she has cared for me. She was and to this day is one of the most supportive people I have in the horse world. She has always pushed me to achieve my goals and reach for new ones. Melissa helped me gain the confidence I lacked in my riding ability and I have seen her do it for so many other kids and adults. I couldn't ask for a better barn Mom!
