ABOUT

Legacy Equestrian &

Melissa Beaudry

I am a lifelong horse lover, I caught the horse "bug" when I was a toddler and NEVER out grew it!

I have been around horses since I was a little girl, but my family was never able to afford my own horse growing up so I took it upon myself to create opportunities to pursue my passion.  I befriended all of my neighbors with horses and worked in their barns for the opportunity to ride their horses.  My friends and I spent hours in the saddle, learning how to ride mostly from trial and error in those days, lots of errors!

Since then, I have dedicated my life to learning how to train horses as well as teaching and mentoring students about horses.  I have participated in many seminars and hands on clinics, and have had the great honor to be mentored by Doug Peterson.  He was an incredibly gifted lifelong equestiran who sadly lost his life to ALS in December of 2014.  I miss him dearly but I will always continue his legacy of introducing and teaching people about horses, and keeping my services affordable for the average family.

To improve my equestian skills, I currently study under a Nationally ranked western/reining trainer and a Nationally ranked FEI Dressage competitor.  I am blessed and honored that so many parents have allowed me to teach their children.

I live in Rogers, and have three children ages 20, 13 and 11.
I look forward to helping your equestiran dreams come true.
